An alumna of the University of Oxford and Tisch School of the Arts, Margaret Berkowitz is as powerful on the screen as she is on stage.
She stars as ‘Claire’ in HIM, the female revenge dramedy opposite Troy Baker and Kyle Prue, which recently premiered at the Sedona Film Festival and has amassed numerous festival awards including Indie Spirit and Best Ensemble. The film has been acquired for distribution by Buffalo 8.
Margaret also stars as ‘Becca’ in MARRIAGE MATERIAL, which premiered at AFIFest in Los Angeles. An award-winning dark comedy musical short directed by Oran Zegman (Honor Society, Troop Beverly Hills), MARRIAGE MATERIAL was distributed by Fox Searchlight.
Margaret consistently has been one of Los Angeles’ top Musical Theater leading ladies. Most recently, she received unanimous critical acclaim for her leading performance as ‘Cathy’ in Jason Robert Brown’s THE LAST FIVE YEARS at Sierra Madre Playhouse.
